Therefore, the Journal is now positioned among the most cited academic journals on neurosurgery in Europe and in the whole world. With reference to ranking, the Journal of Neurosurgical Sciences changed quartiles, moving from Q4 to Q3 for clinical neurology, and from Q3 to Q2 for neurosurgery.
